This Privacy Policy explains what information ShiftScouts collects when you visit our website or join our Telegram group, and how we use it. ShiftScouts currently does not require account creation, login, or personal information to receive shift alerts — alerts are posted publicly in our Telegram group.

Website analytics: We may use standard analytics tools (e.g., to understand visitor traffic and improve our website) which can collect non-identifying information such as browser type, device type, general location (city/country level), and pages visited.

Cookies: Our website may use cookies for basic functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Contact form / email: If you email us or fill out a contact form, we collect the information you provide (e.g., name, email address, message content) solely to respond to your inquiry.

Telegram group membership: When you join our Telegram group, Telegram (not ShiftScouts) processes your Telegram account information according to Telegram's own privacy policy. We can see your Telegram username and messages posted in the group, consistent with how any public Telegram group works, but we do not separately store a private database of group members' personal information.

We do not currently collect or store passwords, payment information, or Amazon account credentials. If a future release introduces accounts, subscriptions, or payment features, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly before those features go live.

We use the limited information described above to:

• Operate and improve our website
• Respond to inquiries sent via email or contact form
• Understand aggregate usage trends (e.g., how many people visit our site)
